Political Marketing and Campaign Strategy
Banzer for President
As head strategist of the Bolivian arm of a binational campaign team, Germán Velasco worked with Alfred Keller and Associates of Venezuela to oversee Hugo Banzer’s third and successful bid to become president of Bolivia.
Ronald MacLean for Mayor
Velasco was a key strategist for two winning campaigns for Ronald MacLean in the city of La Paz, Bolivia. In both campaigns, he directed and supervised the production of all media pieces including radio, television, and print.
Case Studies
Hispanic Radio Network
Velasco Outreach partnered with Hispanic Radio Network of Washington, D.C. and developed the business plan to launch their translations department. We built and oversaw a team of Spanish-language translators working in three different countries, and negotiated contracts with private organizations such as Booz Allen Hamilton as well as with numerous federal clients.
Estate Tax
Latino-owned businesses generate revenues of more than $200 billion annually and employ over four million workers. Nevertheless, little research has been conducted on the opinions of these business owners regarding the estate tax. Working for the Impacto Group in Las Vegas, Velasco Outreach held focus groups and prepared a report on the attitudes of Latino small business owners toward the estate tax.
